the owners were so friendly and the view was amazing, supermarket close by, tasty breakfasts, and the owners brother is a tuk tuk driver who took us out to places, waited for us, and took us home for a very good price. would definitely recommend.

The stay couln't have been better! The host are extremly friendly and helpful. They welcome you from their hearts. Delicious breakfast, wonderful location at a lake, quiet. Big and very clean rooms, balcony. We had dinner there, used the laundry service, and they organized us a tuk tuk driver - Chamara - who gave us very good rates and even took us on slight detours to a beautiful lake temple, ... Wonderful stay, wonderful people, we can highly recommend staying there!

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. A little out of the busy town in a beautiful location. Quiet comfortable and the family are very friendly. A true home from home. The home cooking is fabulous. Highly highly recommended.

Lovely place right next to a lake with a large and beautiful garden. The family that runs the resort is super welcoming and really takes care of their guests. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for the lovely time and the great food!

AC shouldn't be an extra

We paid just 34 USD per one night for 5 persons and did not expected mush. So, it was not much, as expected.

- I think overall Booking rating system in Sri Lnka are skewed upwards. So, take out 1-3 points after carefully reading reviews. Start with bad ones. To the hotel: - The style is ok. I like simple wooden furniture. But I do not like dusty musty smell which reminds me of my late great grandmother. You can not afford not to change matresses and other potentially smelly things, let's say, every 5 years in such climate. And it's better to wash everything that can be washed on regular basis. - Rooms are small and gloomy. I understand that the lack of sun is considered good here. But not by me. - Additional charde for aircon is 7 USD. We rarely use them at all, but what the heck? - We did not like the breakfast. It was small and there were way too many carbohydrates. I would add eggs at least. So, bring along with you e.g more fruits. Butter or above mantioned egges. - It was not noisy but I was ever that any noise I make can be heard outside.
