The place was very beautiful. Its really good place to stay to visit atractions around. The family was wonderful, helpful and very nice. And also they have this amazing neighbour tuktuk driver which can take you to amazing places with great prices and got a lot of tips for you. We really recommend this place. ❤️

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable :) very good location (next to sightseeing area). The personnel were very nice!

They don’t speak English well, but it is possible to communicate with help of non-verbal communication.

The location is quiet but close enough to the centre (within walking distance from supermarket). The room and bathroom were big and clean. It also has a balcony outside the room which was great for sitting early morning or in the evening! The lake is lovely and the property has a viewing deck where you can sit and relax. The hosts were lovely and made traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for us! They also offered laundry services which was extremely helpful!

The fan wasn’t working initially and the optional air-con was $7 extra. Wifi worked on and off throughout our stay.

The view by the lake was nice and the staff was friendly and kind. The local breakfast was a nice touch by the host.

It was not as described. I was requested to pay extra for AC service but on the booking description says it comes with AC.I think probably the staff did not understand English well to write the accurate description. Room also was not very clean and had no hot water. Had a lot of mosquitoes.

It had an amazing view on the lake, sunset and sunrise are amazing. The family who welcomed us is very nice polite and kind.

in the room it was full of ants, on the bad on the floor and in the toilette. The washroom was dirty.

This is a calm place with view of a beautiful lake. The host was lovely and always smiling. Rooms are clean and neat. Breakfast was very yummy. Super close to some lakes, rice fields and very local village life, as well as to Dambulla cave in walking distance. Room rates are low and you get any help and information you need. They have their own tuktuk and Bandara brings you anywhere you want to go and takes really care for you, anytime you have a wish or a question. He also picked me up, when I arrived in Dumballa. Great service, very safe and secure. Thanks for all of your support.

without AC its really hot, at least in july. I upgraded to the bigger room with sofa and one extra bed, because in the other room not much daylight is coming in, a little bit dark. This room was great, with view of the lake.

The owners were so nice and helpful and tried to give us a great time! The breakfast was just perfectly yummy and she cooked everyday something else typical sri lankan. The rooms were big and the beds comfy with mosquitonets. We had our own little lounge outside. The brother of the host was very nice and offered to be our driver the whole 3 days we were there so he showed us a lot and organised really cool stuff!

The shower was kind of the whole bathroom so when somebody showered, the whole floor was wet. The windows were dark so we had no sunlight and we had many many ants in the rooms
