Namal Stay

Peaceful, comfortable and with a very warm welcome. Namal and all the family are excellent hosts. To say arrive as a guest, leave as a friend is clichéd but in this case it's true. The property is away from the centre but not so far, a 10 or 15 minute walk brings you to the beach and many restaurants etc. Although there are some little shops and places to eat closer, or try Namal's wife's (Sudu) delicious cooking. A good quality scooter can be rented at a good price, and is useful.The rooftop area is a lovely place to hang out with other guests, or Namal who clearly enjoys entertaining everyone who stays. The kitchen area is open to use. The rooms have several options and each also has its own seating area. If I pass by this way again I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Namal and his lovely family again.

Namal and his family will do anything to help you and make you feel at home. Great place for working. Wifi works perfectly and the terrace upstairs offers great view and coffee.

My stay was delightful. The room met all my requirements, offering both cleanliness and comfort. The location was perfect, and the staff was always ready to offer guidance on excursions and places to visit. Namal, the host, was outstanding, and his wife, an exceptional chef, made me feel like a part of their family. I highly recommend this place for a visit to this gorgeous location.

Namal and his family are fantastic hosts and have created a great, chilled place to stay above the noise of the town while it’s still easy to access the beaches along the coast. The food is great as well and Namal goes out of his way to help you with anything you need. Hope to be back someday!

Do yourself a favor and enjoy the sunrise from the rooftop. Rooms have hot water and a/c, which is nice.

Wish I could have stayed longer... thank you Ramin and your wonderful family! I had a great evening with the other guests, an amazing dinner and some music quizes in their rooftop restaurant with stunning views. I wanted to marry your wife after the homemade dinner, it was sooo good! See you next time!

A bit away from the main part of town but an easy walk - felt safe being a solo female. Host was very friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Drinking water being provided was helpful. Rooftop view was pretty. Would happily return!
