Very nice and private

We had a very hard time finding the property, were exhausted from traveling and had a problem with communication with the host and the lock box, extremely windy and cold, but finally got it working.

"A very pleasant and quiet place to stay."

Loved the fact that we were able to see the Northern Lights from our room. The hostess was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to reassure us when we expected to arrive fairly late in the evening.

A place with style and a well filled library - much like the village of Flateyri it was super comfortable, interesting and the perfect place to stop. The beds were great and together with a hot bath gave us a fab night's sleep. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room to relax in. Bliss! But above all a friendly host who has really thought about what travellers need. Our best indoors place to stay in Iceland. Thank you!!
