Mahagedara Dickwella

Everything is new and so clean! Minu has decorated the place so beautifully, he was an amazing host and helped me so much ☺️ The location is great, not far too Hiriketiya and on a main road but back from it - it’s so peaceful and like a jungle. Breakfast was so good every day too!

We did like everything! Minu was a great and welcoming host. The day we were leaving we had to leave at 6am, so Minu did wake up, made us a coffee and even gave a bag with breakfast. 😱 How cool is that! The house is in private place, so there is a lot of nature and very less traffic sound. The apartments itself has a spirit, as there are some pictures, statues,etc., but it didn't feel old and rusty as it is very nicely designed. The room was clean and comfy. There are 2 pillows, one is harder and another one softer, so finally we could have a good sleep

We really enjoyed our stay at Minu's homestay. The house was newly renovated, clean, and very beautiful-- it is in the centre of bustling Dickwella, but it is set back from the road and feels like you are in a quiet jungle paradise! Minu made a nice breakfast for us every morning, and he even organised a scooter for us to rent for the day.

There was no hot water for the showers, which is not unusual for Sri Lankan homestays.

The house is a very nice and private. It is located near the grocery’s and everything you might need and the place is quite. It takes 10-15 minutes to go to the beach. The common space is cosy and the room is clean and comfortable. Minu is a really hospitable and kind person. He served an excellent breakfast and allowed me to use the kitchen. I will totally stay here again when I come back to Dikwella Thank you, Minu!

Maybe some furniture for the storage of my staff might be nice
