Spacious room with super comfortable bed! Host also provides scooter which was super convenient for us. Do not hesitate to ask anything, he will for sure help you. Stayed for 3 nights and would definitely come back. Breakfast is included in the price which is nice, however was quite basic, we would appreciate more variety.

Wifi was not really working.

Sanjee is the best. We had some good talks and it felt like leaving a friend. You can walk to the beach and rent a scooter here. The included Breakfast changes everyday and we really enjoyed it. We would definitely come back.

Sanjees Place was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka! The space is really nice and calm with spacious, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and the possibility to chill in the garden. The beach is in walking distance and Sanjee is the best host you could wish for! He is very attentive and helped us with all our questions. 10/10 recommend!!

Sanjee is a very kind and caring person. He was always attentive and very helpful with locations to see and places to go. Furthermore the breakfast was the very best! He cooked us five different breakfasts as we stayed at his place which were all very tasty. The room and the terrace are pretty.

We LOVED it here and were so sad to leave. Sanjee is the best host ever! He was so accommodating. He rented us a very good and reliable scooter for a great price, organised a very affordable taxi to Ella, organised our laundry and recommended places to visit in the area. Sanjee and his staff would also clean our rooms and give us fresh bedding when requested! We’ve found this quite uncommon in most homestays/hotels in Sri Lanka so we were very pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned during our stay!! He would change our breakfast everyday so we had a great variety of food throughout our 5 days there. He even laid the table with the most beautiful bougnaivillea flowers on our last day. We would sit upstairs on the terrace (which is currently under construction as he is building new rooms but we didn’t mind!) but this way we were eye line level with all the monkeys in the trees! Such an unreal breakfast experience!! The rooms were massive and had great AC. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet in the night and was still only a short walk or 2 min scooter to Hirri beach. We would recommend to anyone staying in Hirri / Dickwella! Sanjee and his staff really went above and beyond. 😊🙏🥰

Perfect place! Really nice location, close to the sea. Moreover, you have perfect garden with sunbeds at your disposal :) Owner is totally helpful guy! :) If you're looking for a good place to chill, this is it!

The people there

The shower was not working fine and also after telling them they did not fix it.

Cosy, clean, spacious rooms with AC or fan and big bathroom. The hotel is walking distance from both the center of Dickwella and Hiriketiya beach. It is close to the main road but still silent. The garden is super nice with monkeys, birds and squirrels around the trees. The breakfast is great with usually local flavors and fresh fruits. The staff is very helpful and kind. Overall was a good place to stay.
