a nice warm stay. everything is just well prepared as at home. some free drinks and foods are offered in the fridge and it's possible to cook yourself

"If you miss this GH, you miss the whole Japan."

If you want some special experience while you travel in Japan, DO NOT MISS this lovely GH. The owner Hide sang tries everything to satisfy you. He cooks dinner for you and prepare all food for you. Do not miss 100yen can beers and icecreams. He sells them even cheaper than supermarkets for the guests since those are far from the GH. Do not come with dinner bento worrying that you will not find any restaurant nearby. You can join the family like dinner with a little donation. Lovely staff is just lovely. The owner hires temporary staff mostly travelers and they will not leave you lonely. This is the MOST special GH that I've stayed among hundreds throuout the world.

You can not find even a single disatisfaction in this lovely place. If you find one, that would be a case.

Really, really lovely staff and owner. Lovely cat on site 🐱 Good locations, comfortable rooms, nice and warm, and you can open window too. The owner Hideo san is THE BEST COOK! Great meals every night for a donation. Breakfast is help yourself. Good music and great relaxed vibe. Everyone is relaxed here. We would love to come back. ❤

Good and bad, people socialising until quite late. Good if you want to talk and meet people. Not good if you are awake early! Guesthouse supplies free ear plugs 😊

I had the most amazing stay at Mintaro Guesthouse! The facilities were very functional, clean, and handy! The host also cooks dinner at night and let me tell you that it is delicious (there is a donation box for that)! Breakfast is free also! My room was big, clean and comfortable. The staff was lovely and friendly, we got to play the guitar together! I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone who likes cozy places and to connect with people.
