When I booked, it was because the location is so absolutely perfect for Hadrian’s Wall path. Upon arrival, the staff was so kind, friendly and accommodating to any of my requests! Comfy bed, cozy room, gorgeous place to stay with a delicious tailored to breakfast!

It even has a restaurant and beautiful cozy bar. What’s not to like?!

Good location to take a break travelling from Orkney to Oxford. Good selection of food for evening meal. Excellent breakfast included in price.

The hostess was lovely and went over and above to fulfil my dietary needs. She was welcoming and friendly. My room was clean and the shower was good.

The mattress was too soft for me personally. The room was a little dated but as I didn't spend much time there apart from sleeping, it was fine.

Visiting parents for family birthday.

Breakfast was really good and they were kind enough to offer it to me a little early due to my work starting hours. Good facilities in room and comfortable. Very convenient location and parking.

Elaine And Baz made us very welcome lovely clean rooms and the whole place was very homely. The home cooked food was wonderful and the bar just perfect.

WiFi was quite weak in the bedroom plus the emergency light inside the bedroom the small green led bulb was quite bright while sleeping.
