"Relaxing break in the South Downs - would return again."

Lovely room with view of the South Downs. The pub was cosy and friendly with delicious food. Would definitely stay again. Berwick is a nice base to explore the area with Alfriston and Drusillas just up the road. The staff were also very welcoming.

Liked it all - no TV but it’s not needed when you are in such lovely surroundings.

"Very disappointing"

Comfortable beds and good parking.

Where do I start ..... so apparently the pub isn't open on a Monday....OK no problem we'll just relax in our room.......no TV ! Don't bother having breakfast it isn't served until 9.30 and a half cocked version of a continental won't surfice ! As for the price of over £100 for the night all I can say is at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!

Lovely room with comfortable bed and clean, modern en suite bathroom

We stayed on a Monday night and the pub was closed which was disappointing. Also, the breakfast was included and sounded lovely but didn’t start until 9.30 which was too late for us

"A friendly, cosy b&b stay"

Staff couldn’t be friendly. A lovely cosy room above a pub. Excellent breakfast!

No tv in the room, loud when trains were passing in the night and the hot water heater was loud when heating the water/shower was on.

You do hear the trains go past but it’s not too loud

Great location, lovely comfy clean room, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast

There was no milk in our room, the twin bed was very narrow, breakfast starts a bit late at 9.30.
