Dhangethi INN

Azért választottuk ezt a szálláshelyet a Maldív utunkra, mert a snorkelezés volt az elsőrendű célunk és a visszajelzések szerint a szállásadó nagyszerű kirándulásokat szervez. Valóban Ahmed fantasztikus helyekre vitt el minket, gyönyörű korallzátonyoknál jártuk, teknősöket, mantát is láttunk. Nagyon figyelt ránk és a komfortunkra, biztonságban éreztük magunkat mellette. A kirándulásokhoz tökéletes kiindulási pont volt a szállás. Naponta volt takarítás, ami plusz komfortot adott. Ami nekünk még fontos volt a légkondi, ami jól működött és a tágas fürdőszoba. Plusz volt egy külső zuhany a szálláshelyen és egy mosógép, ami nagyon jó volt snorkelezés, strandolás után. Voltak kedves gesztusok, amelyek jólesőek voltak, a feldíszített ágy, kókuszdió és távozáskor a szuvenírek. Igen a mecset közel van, de nem zavart minket, ez is része amikor valaki egy más kultúrájú országba megy és része az élménynek.

Mivel nekünk a legfontosabb a snorkel volt, ezért mentünk és ezt az élményt meg is kaptuk, ami kifogásolható lehet, az nem volt nekünk olyan érdekes. A szoba egyszerű, egy kis felújítás ráférne, a konyhára is egy nagyobb takarítás. Mivel a konyhát nem használtuk, az ágy és a fürdőszoba rendben volt, így nekünk ez így tökéletes volt.

We were two families staying with kids ranging from 12 to 19. We stayed 8 nights. Some of us have stayed at the Dhangheti Inn in the past and due to a great experience we chose to stay again. Our host is amazing, taking us out on his boat for tours where we swam with marine life (Mantas, Turtles, Sharks) and saw dolphins, and spent lots of time searching for whale sharks, unfortunately not to be this time! Our host made sure we did not want for anything, even providing us a home cooked meal which was delicious! The rooms are comfortable and cool. The rooms had flat screen TV, where we could log into our Netflix. We had breakfast each morning and there is a little kitchenette, supplied with bottled water daily and a washing machine for guest use. The Dhangheti Inn is located in the main street, and near two great restaurants (Compass and Blue Moon). It is approx 5-10min walk to bikini beach. During our tours our host filmed and then sent us the videos daily, which is fantastic as it our allowed us to be in the moment and not muck around with technology. There are also some old masks and fins available, which was handy as some of the kids fins broke and we were able to use the spare ones. Dhangheti is a local island so be aware that there are rules for visitors for respectful dressing and a mosque with early morning prayers. We loved the culture of the island, but it's not for everyone. We loved our trip so much that we are already talking of when we can go back! We can highly recommend the Dhangheti Inn and it's our first choice in any Maldives accommodation!

Very close to the call to prayer loud speaker. Even with earplugs you will be woken up at 5am. Owner is available thru WhatsApp, but is otherwise not at the property.

Wenn man den Preis der Unterkunft berücksichtigt, bekommt man hier wirklich viel geboten. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt, das Frühstück war ausreichend und der Besitzer war überaus bemüht. Ich habe Dhangethi Inn wegen der Schnorchel-Trips gewählt – und das war mein absolutes Highlight! Ich konnte täglich selbst entscheiden, welche Tour ich machen wollte, und meist war ich mit dem Besitzer allein unterwegs, was die Erlebnisse viel intensiver machte. Er kennt sich hervorragend aus und erstellt großartige Videos, die er kostenlos zur Verfügung stellt – vielen Dank dafür! Auch die persönliche Verabschiedung am Hafen war sehr aufmerksam. Insgesamt waren alle äußerst gastfreundlich.

Die Zimmer liegen direkt neben der Moschee und sind recht hellhörig sowie hell. Da ich empfindlich bin, hatte ich Schwierigkeiten, gut zu schlafen. Aber da ich die Unterkunft hauptsächlich wegen der Touren gebucht habe, und diese einfach perfekt waren, überwiegt das Positive eindeutig.

Große saubere Zimmer. Es gibt fast jeden Tag Schnorchel-Touren, wo der Gastgeber tolle Videos macht. Man kann theoretisch die eigene Kamera zuhause lassen und sich einfach aufs gucken und schwimmen konzentrieren, er gibt einem die Videos zum downloaden falls man möchte. Es gibt immer umsonst Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Saft in der Küche und man bekommt ein T-Shirt, das man fürs schnorcheln benutzen kann, dann braucht man kein eigenes zu nehmen.

Frühstück ist ok aber jeden Tag das gleiche und sehr basic. Direkt nebenan liegt eine Moschee und der Muezzin Ruf ist doch relativ laut. Trotz Ohropax bin ich jeden Morgen davon aufgewacht. Aber man ist halt in einem muslimischen Land, gehört eben dazu. Ansonsten alles top gewesen!
