The excursions were amazing, Tholal made some beautiful videos and sent them to us for free, he gave to us for free the excursion to the sandbank and some souvenirs. He is very good at finding manta rays and whale sharks and works really hard for his guests, with passion and dedication.

The room is basic and nice, but it could use a little more care, it still has a good quality-price ratio and if you don't care much about the accommodation and you only use it to sleep and you are more interested in excursions it could be fine.

Appreciate owner for guiding around, arranging for tours even though it was during Ramadan period for solo travellor Really experienced in spotting animals in the wild and able to make the most out of tours - saw the manta ray, didn’t manage to spot the whale shark but owner gave time for snorkelling and even spotted some dolphins and turtles along the way.

Tholal is the best host we’ve ever had. From the moment he welcomes you to the farewell he provides 5 star service. The hotel has everything you need - kitchen, unlimited supply of bottled water, snacks, coffee, tea and breakfast cereals. There is a washing machine with detergent at your disposal. His excursions are one of a kind - he takes you with his boat to see whale sharks, mantas, turtles, dolphins and many more. He is a great free diver and he will also shoot and sent it to you afterwards. The breakfast is in the nearby cafe - The blue moon cafe. There you can try the amazing maldivian breakfast- we really liked the Disk Mashuni and had it every day. Additionally, you have discount in the cafe for all the other meals - just say that you’re staying in Dhangethi Inn. We’ll definitely return one day.

We had a amazing stay with Tholal. Nice room, very well equiped kitchen and beach equipment available for free. But the best thing was the whale shark trip. The owner has a very speedy boat an is an expert spotter. Our best experiencein the Maledives ! And rhe owner made a great video for us and also lended us his camera.

All was great.

Ahmed the owner was fantastic. He went out of his way to be helpful. Took two snorkeling trips and saw a giant manta rays and whale sharks. His hospitality was super excellent. He even invited us to have dinner at his home. I don’t think I could say enough good things about him and Dhangethi Inn. The island itself was so charming. I’ll never forget the experience.

The bed was a little bit on the firm side you might say.

Dhangethi Inn is value for money in the Maldives. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, clean and air-conditioned rooms. We loved how breakfast was included at on e of the local cafes! A kitchen available for drinking water, tea, coffee and cake! Also a washing machine is free for use, which for us was so helpful as we had been on a liveaboard before coming to the island. The personal boat trips for whale sharks/snorkling trips were also fantastic.

Ahmed - the owner of the place is the best overall. The place has a good location, 2 minutes away from the beach and the deck. It is 10 min away from the bikini beach where there is no dress code for the tourists. Also very close to the restaurants and cafes. It is what it is with the money you pay, price/performance ratio is very good overall. The beds were quite uncomfortable but the new ones were on the way as Ahmed said so. I think, when the new beds arrive, the p/p ratio can go higher. :) Aside from above, the real deal is the owner Ahmed. He is quite experienced with the tours he organize and therefore I highly recommend you to go out for snorkeling, whales shark, manta, etc. tours with him. He always kept his eyes on us and the reefs where he took us were really amazing. Also, locating the boat downstream with the help of his buddy was a smart move. with that, we did not spend too much effort and easily go downstream with the current during snorkeling.

-beds in the room was a real pain in the back! :) but Ahmed already ordered new ones, so probably they might have been already set in the rooms -nobody says but there is no alcohol on the island. this is fine for me because my focus had been on or inside the sea but this may effects some people's holiday.. better to know in advance -there is a Dresscode on the island which indicated by brouchers, etc. in the rooms, but I did not see any pressure and/or strict commitment to this rule. Nevertheless its better to know this in advance. personally we did not encounter with any misbehavior regarding our dressing but also we paid attention and tried to be respectful for locals.

No surprises, everything was exactly as described, and as shown in the photos.

More of a wish than something I didn’t like - the bathroom could have a ceiling fan inside. :)
