Dhangethi INN

Our stay at Dhangethi INN was exceptional, highlighted by the outstanding service from Tholal. Despite a late arrival due to our flight, Tholal was incredibly responsive and promptly rearranged our speedboat transfer, ensuring a smooth journey to the island. The whale shark experience he organized was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure - it was just us and the majestic creature, far from any tourist crowds. Tholal’s kindness and efficiency in organizing everything made our trip unforgettable. The rooms, in line with other reviews, were top-notch: comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, contributing to a truly comfortable stay. Additionally, the inn’s location is superb, just a 30-second walk to the beach and in the heart of the island’s local life. The nearby restaurants, with their excellent cuisine, added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

1) Dhangethi the island, it's a small island walkable from end to end in 15 min. Close proximity to the beach which is all around, excellent snorkelling options for amateurs too since the water is waist high during low tide, Wide variety of corals and fishes and marine life all around 2) Dhangethi Inn the stay , rooms were clean and compact with a fully equipped common kitchen. Snorkelling gears, water , tea coffee are all complimentary 3) Blue moon cafe which is a minutes walk. Very warm staff, good food with a view 4) Last but not the least, Ahmed Tholal, the owner. He is the Goto man for everything and anything. We felt at home because of his warmth and unexpected gestures. He conducts personalised excursions in very small groups.

Tholal is a very good men, he gives us gifts! When you arrives he gives you a fresh coconout For my birthday he gives me a stingray,sandbank, a lot of diferent fishes, tortugas,and more! And the he gives me the videos. He is very helpful The room is clean and good The hotel have a good location Thanks you for a lot People: if you come here please gives food to cats :) thanks!

The property is very close to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped. We were provided with unlimited tea, coffee, water and some cupcakes. The rooms are clean, spacious and air conditioned.

The perfect stay in the Maldives. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. The breakfast included in a nearby restaurant is lovely. But the owner is what makes this place so special, we went to see Mantas and Whale Sharks with him and both times were so amazing. He was also so helpful in booking our boats to and from the airport for us and making sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing to dislike. We just wish we had stayed longer. Already thinking about coming back!

My friends and I loved our stay. The rooms had everything we needed, there was also a kitchen where we made coffee every morning and cooked dinner a couple of times - this place is so cozy, felt like home. The host was super friendly, showed us the island and answered any questions we had, helped to book a boat from and to the airport and with the luggage, so there was nothing to worry about and we could just relax and have a great time. There are snorkeling masks, paddle board and other equipment available that you can use for free. I would recommend Dhangethi Inn to anyone traveling to Maldives!

1000000% STAY HERE!!! Tholal and Dhangethi Inn were the best part of our trip to the Maldives. The room itself was quite average, but the boat tours with Tholal were incredible. He offers access to snorkel equipment, beach towels, laundry, water, fruits, paddleboard, ocean floats all for free! And he is the nicest guy ever!!! My friend really wanted to see turtles, so he took us out on the boat twice to make sure we got to have that experience. We still keep in touch and I will 100% visit again if I go back. nearby beach is stunning too! Be aware of the local customs in the Maldives such as dress code. If you are prepared this is not an issue but its very important to be respectful of the local culture.

the 2nd bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the bathroom smelled like sulfur after a shower (but this is a problem across the whole island).

The host Tholal is super nice and helpful! The room and the facilities are clean. I had a great time.

I had an amazing stay at he Dhangethi Inn. The rooms are clean, the Wifi is very good and there is even free Netflix. The bath is very clean as well. There is free water, tea and instant coffee as well as shampoo and mosquito repellent. Tholal was a great host, very kind, respectful and caring. He made sure I am on the speedboat list, picked me up, showed me the important things on the island and did some great snorkeling tours with manta rays, dolphins and a whaleshark as well as fishing tours. We only got charged if we saw the stuff we asked for, very fair. Breakfast was served in the restaurant close by and was really good. All in all I had an amazing stay in Dhangethi and in Dhangethi Inn! If you're interested in snorkeling or diving and up for the big stuff, I highly recommend to stay here!

Water pressure was a bit low but seemed to be only in this room and easily fixed with some pipe cleaning, in the other rooms it was fine as I heard of the guests.
