Quinta do Rosal

The house was clean and functional, well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, kitchen utensils, etc. It was very quiet and with a nice terrace and common garden at the front. The swimming pool is lovely but unfortunately not heated so it was a bit early in the season to use it. However, the kids loved the mini-golf.

No shower gel in the bathroom; and there was the bare minimum of supplies for bin bags, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, etc. The ground floor bedroom was a bit humid due to the proximity of the garden.

Very nice house and big enough for our family. Nice and calm location.

Peaceful and private

On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly and gave us all the information we required to start our 5night vacation.The townhouse(4c) was very clean and comfortable,and had everything we needed for our stay,the view across to the pool and restaurant was really nice also. The pool was very clean and surrounding area clean and tidy also the toilets poolside were immaculate and grounds/shrubbery were manicured and tidy.

We used the restaurant only once and our meals were only average(risotto and beef pasta meals)nicely presented but a little bland to our taste. The parking at the rear of 4c was very tight for 4cars and I had to bump the hire car up the kerb(not good for suspension and steering geometry)on arrival but after this I parked our car in front of the property. Lowering the kerbs would help to alleviate this problem. Also no WiFi coverage at the pool which was a little disappointing.
