Villa Maria-Syros

Everything in this gorgeous, neoclassical house was delightful - the warm, cozy feel of the house, the antique furnishings, the elegant and well appointed bathroom, and the warm welcome from Kostas which included recommendations for his favorite Ermoupoli spots. The house is centrally located and is an easy, two minute walk to town center but just far enough away to be quiet. Absolutely lovely in all ways!

I would recommend this place to everyone especially if you favour artistic, rustic decor over luxury. Every room looked like it was on my pinterest board for my dream house lol. Kostas couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. He came to help us with our bags and just was a very friendly person which makes such a difference to your stay. There is a really perfect outside seating area upstairs that's perfect for sipping a coffee or getting some work done. The kitchen is gorgeous too - I want my kitchen to look like that! Just really a wonderful stay.

There was only one room left when I booked which was the smallest, and I felt it was a little too small for 2 people for several days, however with the big living room and kitchen it made up for it.

Kostas is an amazing host. So welcoming and informative. The property is beautifully decorated and has everything required to enhance your stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place. Very central. Kostas was very helpful, he met us at the square and helped us with our luggage, he gave us lots of tips to explore the island. Our room was nice and spacious, the location was great.
