Villa Maria-Syros

El alojamiento es una casa antigua muy linda y bien cuidada, con varias habitaciones, una gran cocina y una terraza exterior buena para pasar una tarde. Las habitaciones son limpias y Kostas fue un host increíble. Nos dio excelentes datos sobre dónde ir y qué hacer, lo que hizo de nuestra breve pasada por Syros una muy agradable.

La Villa Maria est une très belle maison située pas loin du port mais suffisamment en hauteur pour profiter du calme des ruelles d'Ermoupoli. Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût et sont spacieuses et confortables. Nous avons été accueillis par Kosta qui nous a très bien conseillés sur les excursions et randonnées de l'île et qui a été très prévenant tout au long de notre séjour, merci Kosta!

Nous avons été un peu surpris que le ménage n'ait pas été fait durant les 4 nuits passées à la Villa, un petit coup d'aspirateur aurait permis de se débarrasser du sable de la plage qui a vite fait de s'accumuler. Sans compter que le prix de la chambre aurait justifié ce service. Il faut savoir également qu'il n'y a pas de possibilité d'avoir un petit déjeuner, on peut se faire un café dans la petite cuisine mise à disposition ou profiter des nombreux bars alentours.

Kostas is an incredible home owner! He has welcomed us and has given us a lot of advices for our stay in Syros! Our room was cozy and nice and the entire building is very fascinating! Absolutely a perfect place to discover the island!

La maison est très centrale dans Ermoupoli… un décoration très soignée… une vue incroyable sur le port (depuis la chambre verte a minima) et la gentillesse et les conseils de Kostas

Kostas was an extraordinary host. He gave us key information to move around and to enjoy the best our stay. The house is nicely decorated, a really beautiful building with different common areas, terraces... We loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

Kostas is the best host we have ever had on our trips. His recommendations were spot on for our tastes. The Villa is beautiful with lots of character and interesting areas.

We loved everything, but the location in the pedestrian only area might be a problem for guests who have mobility issues.

This is a beautifully restored villa in the heart of Ermoupoli. The room is as it looks in the photo (i.e., no trickery). It was very spacious with a large comfortable bed, lovely original / vintage furnishings and a huge, marble bathroom. Kostas was a fabulous host who gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat. He met us in the centre when we arrived by ferry and proceeded to help me carry our luggage up the 115 steps to the villa.

To get to the villa requires you to ascend 115 steps , which, with bags in 30 degree heat requires a little effort. If you’re not that fit, or not a fan of stairs, please take note. For us it wasn’t a problem.
