Very nicely decorated, super clean. We felt very welcomed and the staff was always very helpful and kind. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Location close enough to the city but far enough from the city centre hustle. The balcony and the views of the city and garden were gorgeous!

Unfortunately did not get good sleep throughout our stay, which is stressful since this is what holidays are for. The common area echoes a lot and being on the ground floor room next to the kitchen and common area was tough for a light sleeper like me. Was up as soon as the breakfast preparations started every morning at 7. And the noise got a lot worse when the first people started arriving for breakfast. Also the bedsheets were quite worn out and rough on the skin + one flat pillow. However, everything else was good and we still enjoyed our time there.

Alexandra was a great host that not only prepared a good breakfast but also informed us on how to get around the town. The view overlooking the city was amazing and having several olive and orange trees on site while sitting on the deck was a beautiful way to start each day.

Very beautiful property with the most amazing hosts! 20 minute walk to the lower city. Great views! Best breakfast so far! Clean rooms. Well decorated.

Easier way to get there with luggage is to ride the 13 bus that stops directly down the stairs in front of the train station. Lugging it up stairs was rough.

Location : can’t go to the property by foot if you got big suitcases as you need to climb stairs to get uphill. Use taxi

Allessandra was a wonderful host. She fulfilled all our expectations and made our time in La Spezia and Cinque Terre truly special. A lot of effort went into preparing the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious.

It is very clean and the facilities were taken care of very well. The breakfast was amazing, it had a lot of variety.

It is very hard to get to the Hostel without a car. Especially cause the public transport system in Italy is not very well thought out.

The setting was beautiful, especially sitting out on the terrace looking at the view. Breakfast was varied and great quality. The rooms were spacious and decorated very nicely (I was almost being too careful!) and everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

The only downside was the public transport. Because of an issue with my knee, we couldn't walk often. We walked down once but that was enough to know we wouldn't be able to walk up at all. The buses were kind of hard to figure out and finished at 8pm, so worth keeping that in mind. They also don't run on a Sunday and so we had to walk with our bags down the hills and steps which was hard. We got a taxi home once and it cost over €20 from town. Not an issue with the accommodation but for anyone who can't walk up or down hills often, you may want to do some research first!
