Eastwind Surf Camp - Surf & Stay

Allan nous a super bien accueillis et nous a aidé à organiser nos sorties surfs à différents spots de la Baie. Le logement est à la bordure de la ville au calme mais proche de tout à pieds. Excellent rapport qualité-prix, je recommande!

Les hôtes étaient très sympas, j'ai partagé de beaux moments avec eux.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely. This camp blends professional surf coaching with a relaxed, beachy vibe that’s hard to beat in Arugambay. If you’re chasing quality waves, the owner Alan and the staff are very friendly, and a place that feels like a home away from home, this is a standout choice. Highly recommend!

When I first walked in I was a little shocked at how dark and dungeon the room was, but I quickly became thankful for it when the temperatures were reaching 40C outside and my room was perfectly cool. The bed is huge and the aircon worked great. Lots of space to throw all your junk around too. No hot water but you really don’t need it. 4 towels as well! 2 minute walk to the beach. It’s behind some other buildings so you don’t even get street noise. Breakfast was so tasty. I loved it here.

The bedding. There was just a single sheet, not even big enough to be tucked in, just popped on top, so you end up sleeping on the mattress when it eventually wiggles its way out from under you. Bit weird.

My stay at East Wind Surf Camp was simply perfect. I originally planned to stay only 5 days, but I ended up staying for 6 weeks – that already says it all. The vibe at East Wind is unique and truly incomparable. Friends from other hostels would regularly come over just to experience it. The whole team, especially Allan and his family, are incredibly kind-hearted people who make life easier in every possible way. They manage to make you feel at home within no time. From time to time, we even did private tours together with the whole hostel, where they showed us their personal favorite spots – experiences you could never book anywhere else. Without a doubt, this was the best hostel experience I’ve ever had.

La ubicación

NO VENGÁIS A ESTE ALOJAMIENTO. Mi amiga se encontró UNA RATA en su habitación y nadie se aseguró de que se iba… una hora mas tarde, fue a coger cosas de su equipaje Y LA RATA ESTABA DENTRO DE LA MALETA. El alojamiento no se hizo responsable y nos querían cobrar por la colada del equipaje donde estaba la rata. Luego nos dijeron que nos darían un descuento, pero a la hora de pagar nos querían cobrar todo y amenazaron con llamar a la policía si seguíamos intentando reclamar. Gran parte de las habitaciones no tienen ventanas y todo esta muy sucio. Una habitación no pudimos usarla de LO MAL QUE OLÍA. No os dejéis engañar por las buenas reseñas; este sitio es asqueroso.
