Most amazing place to stay.Arrived late after stressful day with sat nav,greeted warmly by hostess,enfolded in care ,she organised for us to get dinner and a much needed drink.Breakfast was wonderful,the acvomodation was exceptional

The Dufferin is a fantastic place to stay. The staff were amazing doing everything they could to make you feel at home. I simply cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough.

"Quaint stay in a quaint town."

Walking distance to all the area. Next door to great pub for food and drink ( poem from our grandfather Stanley Hamilton on wall). Clean. Lots of character. Incredible hostess. Breakfast was grand. Everyone throughout the town was so friendly and welcoming. Even swam with the local teens. The Hamilton castle was good to see - even though our family were not direct descendants.

Can’t think of anything I’d change.

A beautiful room with all ww could need. The hostess rang us before our visit to reserve an evening meal. Our bikes were looked after. We were given an early breakfast to suit our needs

The property is lovely, well kept throughout and so clean. Room was perfect! Bed was super comfortable. Plenty of space in our room and the decor suits the building so well. Janine is such a fantastic host - she made us feel welcome from the second we walked in until we left. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time - cooked to perfection. Location is brilliant there is so much to do and see. We will definitely be returning to stay with Janine again.

Such a kind, attentive host. Beautiful, clean rooms. A delicious and filling breakfast. Lovely location, with good recommendations for food from the host.
