Dufferin Coaching Inn

Our host, Janine was absolutely wonderful. She helped us out with tips on places to visit and booked us reservations at a nearby restaurant prior to our arrival to ensure we had a place to dine on our first night. Our breakfast each morning delicious and the presentation was exquisite. Janine is a breath of sunshine. The Inn is located in a good place to explore the many area attractions.

Rooms are cozy and is close to downtown. Host was extremely friendly. This B&B is located in town near a castle. The rooms had wooden shutters that shut out the street lights and offered us privacy. Very nice breakfast. We ate evening dinner next door to the rooms, and enjoyed our food.

The rooms in the Dufferin Inn were fantastic; filled with comfort and charm. They had plenty of space and all the amenities that are needed. Janine is one of the best hosts I have experienced. From the time she greeted us until the time we left, she was friendly, charming, and extremely helpful. I would most certainly stay again and will likely plan another trip to the area just to stay here again. If you need any information about what to do or see, Janine is a wealth of knowledge. Would recommend to anyone staying in or near County Down.

We liked everything; there was nothing that was not excellent. Janine was open and accommodating. We arrived a little earlier than expected and Janine came early to meet us. We also left a little later than expected and there was no problem with that either.

Perfect location in delightful town on Strangford Lough . Free parking !Excellent choice at breakfast and personally made and served by Janine (Hostess). Great Ulster Fry with quality ingredients .Very accomplished at providing Gluten Free food . No request was too much trouble for Janine . Very knowledgeable regarding Killyleagh and surrounding attractions .Next door Dufferin Arms had excellent atmosphere and great pub food . A truly special establishment tempting us back .....we would love to return and explore this lovely part of NI again and return to the Dufferin Coaching House .
