SVH Bush Lodge

Some of the interior was good, nice floors. First look, everything was done well.

2 broken down, stripped cars in the covered parking, does not give a welcome and inviting feeling, it looked abandoned, like an empty standing house, we drove past it a few times. No owners, just a caretaker that does not communicate, not sure if he can speak English. Sliding door broken and cannot lock, only Aircon that worked was in main bedroom, 2nd bedroom Aircon had no control and Aircon in living room control had no batteries. We realised that when we asked for help with the remote control that the caretaker had a lot of people living or visiting in the room behind us with a sliding door not able to lock, it just gave us a very uncomfortable and unsafe feeling... That is not how you want to feel in a holiday destination, even if nothing was sinister, you do not want to feel unsafe. The photos was probably taken just after the place was finished, but the grounds are not kept. When the room was cleaned everything was just swept off the porch... This place has the opportunity to be a great place, position is good, but not yet.. We left and found alternative accommodation, we just did not feel comfortable and at ease!

1. The person at SVH didn't have our booking. 2. The place was still dirty and unprepared when we arrived after 17h00. 3. No aircon remotest for two of the three units. And no, one remote does not control the other two units. 4. Bedding was clean. However, they were full of marks. 5. Can't use the bathtub in the one unit. It have a crack right through the bottom. 6. Overall lack of maintenance is just shocking.

the rooms are very comfy and cozy which I lovrd. They have air-conditioning, the bed is comfy. the pool was amazing. the rooms are quite clean. overall, really not bad at all.

They don't do daily cleaning in the room, so the dustbin was full for some days which led to unwanted insect guests. The TV works but it's not easy to operate and nothing to watch as there are no functional channels. TV needed wifi to operate and the wifi was weak, reaching the chalets. The doors aren't properly sealed all around.

I enjoyed seeing the animals, the nature and I enjoyed the quietness.

The house was full of cockroaches and all kinds of bug.
