Johan, our host, was very friendly and helpful. Loved his art.

The kitchen pots and pans can be updated. The gas stove /plate needs to be connected to a gas cylinder.

You can order dinner, and breakfast. The cooking was exceptional. The owner is so welcoming, and imbues his place with a happy feel. He is an artist, amongst other things, and the decor is delightfully quirky.

The quirky shower is too strong.4

Very homely, quirky and comfortable. Our host, Johann was extremely welcoming and his son prepared a delicious dinner for us by arrangement. Beds comfortable with great linen and shower was welcoming after a long drive. Will definitely return when in the area. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus!

We had a great overnight stop in Smithfield at the Purple house. There was enough space for the dogs and kids to play and the food was excellent!
