The most valuable thing of the property is the privilege views to the mountains and the valley. We originally booked the room with balcony, which we didn’t realise prior arrival that doesn’t have a view. However, the manager kindly offered us an upgrade to the Mountain View room as soon as it was available, which we absolutely loved, and encouraged us to extend our stay for 3 more nights. They also provide towels, toiletries, and a kettle. Their location is nice and quite away from the crowds and noisy streets, although you might hear some dogs barking in the middle of the night, but that didn’t affected us much. Their location is also perfect in my opinion is you want to stroll around to Dharmakot or to the Dalai Lama temple. The facilities were clean and the staff was always helpful and respectful, we totally recommend this place to anyone. Shower has hot water. Many people complains about the 100 steps down/up from the property to the Main Street, but it is just a small price for the beautiful views and quite area. Maybe for people with big luggage it will be slightly more challenging but I am also sure that the hotel staff would gladly help you if requested.

1) Location is quite complicated almost next to impossible to trace, we had to climb down almost 100 steps leading to a very narrow pathway (so narrow that 2 people can't walk together). 2) There is no eating facility, lobby or reception at site. 3) So many dogs in the pathway (although they didn't harm us) but felt scared anytime we were going out and coming in.

Great location with balcony that has amazing view over the Himalayas!

The steps down might be an issue for some people!

Hotel location was slightly down the lane so was difficult but view was worth all of it.
