Aeolian Ranch Guest house

it’s in a position for a stupendous view and it’s very easy to get to the airport in 15 mins and the price is comparable to a hostel, which is effectively the setup except with private bedrooms.

it’s not in the best condition overall —some very grubby areas outside the building(s), neglected landscaping, big picture windows really needed washing on the outside in the shared common space. Two types of cockroaches spotted inside the lodging —one a couple of inches long the other very small. People have said that’s just Hawaii… Despite all this, the owners are friendly and we had all we needed for a place to get a good sleep. And the bedroom was clean, the bathroom serviceable and kitchen is tidy. Perrier in the fridge for guests and coffee pods. Just a shame cause it could be brilliant…

No breakfast but location was beautiful. Remote,peaceful and beautiful.

Pros: location to airport. Cheap. Perfect if you just need a place to sleep and don't want the amenities of a hotel.

The whole place was dirty. Black mold on our headboard, bathroom, bed pillows. The ceiling in our room had been stapled down with obvious signs of water damage.. The complementary towels smelled like wet dog. The owner was literally watching pornography on the office computer at 11 am. The owner did laundry past 10 pm and the dryer was loud and constantly going. The environment on the whole was like a frat house. It's very loud with people slamming doors. You can clearly hear the other guests and no one followed the quiet time. Having to open and close the gate by hand was an additional inconvenience.

Alle waren nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr ruhig gelegen, aber unbedingt Auto erforderlich. Morgens besteht die Möglichkeit sich frei Kaffe zu kochen. Müsliriegel stehen auch bereit. Aloha-Feeling spürbar. Vielen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

In der Küche gibt es leider keinen Herd, nur Mikrowelle und einen Mini-Backofen. Da alle Autos direkt vor unserem Zimmer geparkt waren, war die Nacht sehr früh vorbei.

Location good left early no breakfast

We’re not aware this was a hostel and read they had laundry machines outside but we were not allowed to use them. Only had one towel for us to use and had to share shower with the other guest.

Love the location. Convenient for trips to and from the airport, stores, and tourist spots. But far enough from the shoreline with crowds and traffic. Nice to be surrounded by trees, plants, coffee farms, birds, flowers, and locals. Wonderful hosts, too.

Good place to meet interesting people! Also, great location.

The property is a bit run down.

It wasn't a so-called ranch. Rundown home with extra bedrooms. Dirty, outdated, shared bathroom and living area. Hard to find. Old hippie running it with help that didn't communicate.
