The Tottam Beach Hotel - Trincomalee

Location is perfect, the food is fantastic and great value for money.

The chef is very personal and asks a day before what I would like for breakfast and dinner. DeSilva is a phenomenal chef, some of the best food I’ve had in srilanka.

It was a beautiful location with a gate to the beach. Well equipped rooms. Careful grooming of the property was evident.

I certainly had the full attention of the staff, I was the only guest! They were lovely of course, and the very capable cook asked my opinion before he cooked my meal:) Delicious food. There were some maintenance issues that will be probably be looked after in this off season, tv didn’t work, no bicycles to rent as advertised, blind didn’t work…..

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tottam Beach Hotel in Trincomalee, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. Nestled along the picturesque coastline, this hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty.The hotel's location is simply stunning. Situated right on the beach, it provides breathtaking views of the ocean. The proximity to the beach allows for easy access to a variety of water activities and beach lounging. It's also conveniently close to some of Trincomalee's popular attractions.

Private Beach .This is the best place for relaxation .Very calm and big beach area . The caretaker was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good .

This is a new property and needs improvements . Wall Mirror needs be fixed in the room also (presently only in bathroom). The cottage should be covered without gaps all side from roof to bottom so that squirrels/rats do not enter into the room from the roof .

Silva was the superb host! He makes deliciuos food and is very helpful. I had an accident, so I needed into the hospital, so he took me with his scooter, helped me there with translation and while I had to wait he quickly came back to hotel to make some breakfast for my girlfriend. 🙈 Very responsible and thoughtful person. 🥳 Regarding the room it was very spacious, had good air coditioning and the hotel is located on the beach side.

Lots of ants in the room. No mosquito net, so it was difficult to sleep at night.
