Meexai Guesthouse

I had a big bed for myself, a clean private bathroom and a terrasse. It was a pretty place, quiet and perfect to get a good sleep before a trek.

Damp rooms, could do with some TLC, bathrooms need updating

Great location full of restaurants and hikes around, comfortable and big room, everything worked well, they provide drinking water, amazing view from the balcony.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Only stayed for night and then found a cheaper place

The owners were disinterested and it's a bit expensive for what you get

The host was so kind and hospitable, they included us in their family celebrations and culture. They were very helpful with booking things and providing local recommendations too

When we arrived, they said that our reservation is not available. They don’t have anymore room. They placed us in an other room that wasn’t usually used I think. They said a different price (cheaper) so we said okay. When we came to pay, they wanted us to pay the price on booking! But the room was completely different (less good and smaller) and apparently, they tried to say that they never said a different price for the other room. I didn’t want to pay that so after 15 minutes, they were finally okay to made us pay a cheaper price (however, more expensive that the one they said first). They literally tried to scam us!

The staff was super nice and helpful. The room is clean and the price is good
