A small museum the owner is gathering is great

The host Mangala was a lovely person who helped accomodate everything for us.

The facilities were not amazing but it felt like a nice homestay. Was a little expensive for the area but for convenience it was fine for one night.

-at least the room had AC - the dining area is relaxing

-the google maps route from Kurunegala centre was misleading us for the road, you should come from Circular Rd side -the room was old and very basic,considering our room was upgraded we also found out the room had an internal window to another room and you could see or hear anyone in there(the curtains weren't well installed). - in my opinion room price is too overvalued compared to other choices

Mangala’s lodge is fabulous - like a museum! Fabulous friendly host, big dinner and nice breakfast. Great location, quiet .

Brilliant hospitality! Very welcoming for a home stay. Shows love through local food.

The room Itself wasn’t the most comfortable and the price was a little high in regards to location.

warm-hearted host; well equipped room (used the third bed as additional space 🙂), even with fridge & power strip to charge devices; great Sri-Lankan breakfast; museum-like courtyard with Mr. Mangala's collection; very late check-out for a small extra fee before we started our trip to the airport; was our second stay after two years - and will come again!

Mr. Mangala is so warm and kind… it was such a relief to find this place and enjoy his good company.

Nothing. It was a tiny bit hard to find but I think Google maps is not the best app. I think Waze would have taken me there with no problem.

Nice place.clean & calm. The owner mr.mangala such a nise and very kind person. Best place to stay in kurunegala. Food is good also.
