Great location, great staff, great breakfasts

Great Location, easy access to everything in town including a short walk to St Andrews Golf Course. Breakfast each morning including a cooked breakfast of your choice which was amazing.

Small stuffy rooms and when you opened your windows to gain some fresh air you were rewarded with LOUD street noise from cars and motor bikes driving fast in the street and patrons leaving the pub. The shower was TERRIBLE! Unstable water temperature with absolutely no pressure, so scalding from hot water is a possibility. No fridge to keep drinks cold. No onsite parking so if you have suitcases you will need to lug them up the street (or wherever you are lucky enough to find parking). Travel light or be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if you are located on the top floor as we were.

Awwwwwesoooome! The room is clean and well be cleaned daily. Cookies provided daily. Breakfast contains amount of choices like bagel+salmon or salmon+eggs (yet don’t know whether can order two or more once because I only order one). The location is really great as its in the town center and not far from the bus station. Some bar’s nearby.

The reception is in the Dunvegan bar (west of No 5 Pilmour), not at No 5 Pilmour. Don’t know whether if arriving late the bar will be closed.
