Just wonderful special incredibly friendly, the most wonderful valley, nutritious home cook food. Interesting conversations over dinner as you all eat together on a big table. Watching the birds feed at breakfast is a joy!

For us nothing at all it was perfect in every way! We enjoyed the long drive done a dirt track road to get to such a beautiful place, it has simple old fashioned charm so don’t go expecting modern flashy fittings and aircon

The location is fabulous - stunning scenery and enchanting walks mapped out for inquisitive travellers. 20km off paved roads this was a truly unique experience. The owner and her staff were all so friendly and helpful. The communal dinners an excellent way to chat with other guest. Definitely will be back.

This location is unbelievably beautiful. We swam in prestine crisp mountain streams just a short walk from our cottage. Dinner was delicious, and the conversations around a nightcap were stimulating and interesting. History and tails about the area were much appreciated. Thank you ladies for a wonderful stay. We will be coming back for sure!

Lovely farm style relaxed place

The Retreat is a real Treat for all those who are looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature. The birds in the morning and the rock pools are very unique but above all it is Marie’s exceptionally good care who makes this place so special. Many thanks!
