The Dinner and breakfast were trememdously good.

Breakfast was fine. The lady of the house is very charming. It's a short walk to city center.

The airco is like an old diesel: it takes for ever to reach the acquired temperature. The room has no mosquito nets, and since the bathroom window was open without any mosquito-protection, there are mosquitos in the room. We closed the bathroom window for that, but then it starts to smell badly. Also, moist cannot go anywhere without that ventilation. The window and its sill were realy dirty, that hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Also the floor wasn't very clean. The towels are way beyond their expiration date, you can read the newspaper through it.

Sunni and Charinda are amazing hosts, and the value was amazing. If you are looking for luxury, this probably isn't the place, but it's perfectly fine and amazing value for money AC worked well and Internet was fine too.

Very welcoming hosts with tea offered on arrival at around midday. Clean and comfortable room, good bathroom too. Nice location too, on a small quiet road semi rural feel, with monkeys and lots of birdsong, also a 5 minute hike to the lakeside. We stayed just one night and had our evening meal there and breakfast, both were good. Very conveniently located for our afternoon visit to the ancient city - just a few minutes drive to the museum to get entry tickets. We already had a driver but our hosts said they could have organised a tuk tuk if needed. Would definitely recommend.

While Radha Tourist Home itself was excellent and a perfect base for visiting Polonnurawa ancient city there was less to see in the nearby part of the 'new' town than we expected - so for us one night felt just right. But again would highly recommend this accommodation.

The location was very convenient to everything. The host and her family were friendly and generous, including us in their New Year celebrations.

Perfect place for one night to visit the ancient city of Polonaruwa. We could rent bicycles for the day. The breakfast was delicious. We also tried some new year's delights.

The hosts were very hospitable, and cloaked our bags after checkout while we looked around the ancient city. A meal was provided outside the usual time, with no notice.

In our room, access to the double bed was only available from the foot and one side, as it is placed against the wall. The location is very close to the centre of town, so a little busy at night.
