Simple, clean, functional accommodation. Comfortable bed and good shower. The hosts accommodated my request for an early breakfast. Excellent location for visiting the ancient city, and the hosts rented me a bicycle which made the day visit very manageable.

The staff were very nice, gave me tips seeing the area. Also the breakfast was very nice.

We loved this homestay and had breakfast and dinner. Both were excellent and served at the time of our choosing. The location is perfect for visiting the ruins and our kind hosts arranged the tuk tuk tour for a reasonable price. The room is spacious and has basic amenities which all work (including AC, warm shower, well placed plugs and WiFi). It was clean. The location is truly perfect - for a walk around the lake at sunset or to access the ruins by bicycle or tuk tuk. And you are part of an old neighbourhood here - loved that.

Better quality towels would be good, and maybe a fresh lick of paint in the room. We felt a little on top of other guests while eating - little privacy - and always in the gaze of our lovely hosts.

Exceptional hosts and delicious home cooking. Helped to organise our stay, visiting Polonnaruwa and Medirgiriya archaeological sites and a canoe ride across the nearby lake. Did not expect to see an elephant feeding itself water plants. Canoe trip finished watching the sun go down. Without the help of our hosts we would probably only have experienced Polonnaruwa

Comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Very kind and friendly host who was easy to communicate with prior to arrival. Option to have dinner at the property, which was very yummy. Delicious Sri Lanka breakfast.

The room and bathroom were a bit small for 4 people.

Very good location. The hosts were very helpful in every way - offered suggestions, directions and push bike rental. The room had lamps in addition to the main room light.

No mosquito nets on windows and the mosquitos are like small airplanes bc of the proximity of the lake. Ask for 2 towels, chair and washing line if you wish to wash by hand. The landlady was very helpful and very kind so I am glad I've chosen tbis location. Also, it is about 10 min walk to the museum and the ticket office for the ruins. Overall, a good choice to stay for couple of nights.

Radha Tourist House is very well positioned between the lake, 10 minutes walk, and the archeological sites, 20 minutes walk. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are fresh and copious.

My room was clean and functional but a bit small
