Ended up being able to check in early

Not very clean, uncomfortable bed, toilet didn’t flush, incessant beeping right outside the bedroom and very thin walls and floors meant I couldn’t sleep well and could literally hear the man in the room above sneeze and creaks every time he moved int he room, mould in the bedroom.

The bed was relatively comfortable.

There was a constant beeping noise all night, which made it difficult to sleep. The rim of the toilet was filthy and the shower was very smelly. We could hear lots of noise from above, as the floor was very creaky. The person in the room above us got up several times during the night, so the floor creaked and we could clearly hear them urinating each time they went to the bathroom. No bedside lamps and a standard lamp didn't work.

I waited 15 minutes at reception, there were no staff present. Eventually two males appeared who were suppose to be staff, not in uniform but both in lounge wear on their mobiles having personal conversations.Both staff personal hygiene was very poor. The hotel is absolutely filthy, the carpet on the stairs and walls are disgusting. The room is disgustingly dirty (Pictures below) The bathroom isnt clean, side of the bath is broken. The shower does not work properly I asked a member of staff to have a look and he said I have to use it how it is and he will fix it next time. (The water is just dripping out). You cannot stand upright in the shower (im 5’8) as the ceiling is so low, there is no shower screen or curtain. The low ceiling in the bedroom is a hazard i smacked my head on it getting up from the bed in the middle of the night. The chest of drawers is broken, the drawer does not close it stays permanently open, there is MOULD in the wardrobe. Everything is full of dust. I contacted booking.com multiple times by email and online chat and yet to get a response. I wanted to be moved to a new accommodation as I can’t believe this hotel is even allowed on booking.com . I was in the area for work and didn’t have the funds to move otherwise I would have left straight away.

The price for 4 people

Most of it, the bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom was unclean and had no way to vent steam, the service included trying to charge me twice and overcharging me, the cleanliness was mediocre at best, and the parking was shared with the restaurant but the road was at least capable of parking cars during the weekend.
