It is a nice and very affordable place run by a very friendly and welcoming family. I had a private room on the top floor which was the only room on that floor so I had lots of privacy and quiet. Good size room and good AC. Free drinking water available to fill your bottle which was great.

The kindest people, always greeting us with a smile, nice room with comfy bed and AC,they offered us free drinking water and sweet bananas from their farm, also plenty of advice on what to see.

The home owners were super friendly and helpful, we didn’t have the full amount of money to pay when we arrived, however they were happy for us to pay the next day. Lots of facilities within the building, including a water fountain which was super handy! The only thing I would say is that the Wi-Fi isn’t the best its manageable.

Truly lives up to the name “peaceful.” The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the guesthouse clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. The stairs are a bit steep and not easy to navigate, so if you’re injured, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise Vanny’s was excellent and I’d definitely stay here again!

There was a bed, it was cheap

Not very clean, bidet was dripping constantly so the floor was permanently wet at the entrance to the bathroom. There are sandal in there but they look like they’ve never been cleaned. There was no hot water. Skinny cheap metal spiral staircase. I have no clue how a suitcase gets up them. It was hard enough with my backpack. Not really much around to do but grabs are cheap. The beds were entirely metal and made lots of noise when you moved. The curtain let through so much light. I had to put both towels over the rail to block it out. The place is very run down. There are passive aggressive signs everywhere. The free water has a off taste. The light switch to my room was faulty and honestly a fire risk. Staff was hot and cold with attitude.

The host family are some of the nicest people we’ve met in the last two months. Very good place to stay and so worth it!

Great location, we really liked this area of town. The owners were so lovely, very helpful and friendly. Basic room but clean and comfortable. Free water provided, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The owner sent us a list of recommendations which was so helpful. Thank you for a great stay wonderful people :)

Lots of stairs to the top, mostly steep - (our room was the private double with private bathroom) we managed fine but think it's important to say for people who wouldn't
