Vanny's Peaceful Guesthouse

We were not given a breakfast option but the room was very nice and quiet, and the bed was quite comfortable. Vanny and his wife and girls were very helpful and friendly, and it was a pleasure staying at their guesthouse.

The location was not ideal as it was a fair tuk-tuk ride to get anywhere (except the Russian Market) but this was no fault of Vanny's Comfortable Guesthouse, rather it was my own fault for not researching where I wanted to be before booking.

Great location, awesome value! Vanny was super friendly and helped us with our stay, also recommended sights and restaurants and gave us free food.

Great place to stay. The family is very welcoming and helps with anything. The Guest house near a lot of bars and restaurants.

No hot water in showers

Room was dark in the night and it was quite; toilettes are good and the owner is very friendly

Vanny and family are extremely kind and enjoyable people, they provided us with a lot of information and tips about the city, offered us fruits and were always greeting us with smiles and happiness. The location is great - plentiful of restaurants and cafes nearby and a really quiet area during nighttime The bed is HUGE and really comfortable - we slept awesomely There's free and fresh water available 24/7 and a decent WiFi connection

The ceiling in bathrooms are a little low and I hit my head a couple of times (I am 178cm) and there are some mosquitoes in the shower (cold water only, but that's not a problem given the heat of PP)

Absolutely lovely family, you feel right at home. The owner is there to chat, to recommend al kinds of places and to help with anything. It is like a hostel setup with nice common places to meet other travellers. The location is perfect in the middle of the city. Walking distance from restaurants, market and laundry services. I had a great time. Would come again. For such a fair price.

Well it is in the midst of the city, so the building is a bit old. There are some pretty steep and shallow stairs to climb and for this price you shouldn't expect the Hilton. But for youthful or adventurous travellers it is absolutely perfect. My only complaint would be the WiFi. It works but is just not perfect.
