The host was very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist with my questions about the neighborhood and city in general. The room was clean and spacious enough, the bathroom was cleaned daily and you could really notice that. Restaurants and a cafe serving breakfast were really close, and ample parking space was readily available at the big city parking (free of charge) on the other side of the road. In terms of costs - the price is very attractive and if the cost of stay is a major consideration for you please consider my score as one point higher (or even two points higher - the price I paid was really attractive).

Shared bathroom is the main downside along with the fact that the bedroom windows (which you want to keep open due to the lack of an AC unit) face a steep slope on a local road and cars (especially trucks) going uphill made a lot of noise. It is an older building with a little bit dated amenities (the sink on the terrace for example). The furniture is quite old and wooden, which is much better than the soulless Ikea stuff we can buy nowadays, but due to its age a little less functional. But if you are not a very light sleeper and if you do not expect luxuries it's a very decent place to stay.

I usually don't make a negative comments. Anyway I would repeat what many other guests wrote however the host has friendly approach But he can also pay attention to investments needed....

Frederic is a marvelous host and his house is absolutely lovely' With local old fashioned feeling, is very well located. The rooms are equipped with old beautiful furniture and very nice old wooden floor He genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his guests. Good local tavernas, coffee shops, restaurants around and stunning ocean wiew nearby. Definetely recommended !!
