Pondok Baruna Frangipani

The property is beautiful, with two pools, a welcoming restaurant and beautiful landscape. All of the staff, but especially the restaurant staff, are so helpful. They really want to please and always smile, especially Catur. The room AC was great, and it was nice to have a glass jar to refill water. They were always there for anything we needed. They communicated quickly via WhatsApp. They picked us up at the ferry. When the driver wasn’t there to drop us back off, 4 employees jumped on their scooters to get us there. The food was delicious and presented beautifully.

We didn’t know there was a water refill closer to the rooms until our last day.

Die Wartezeiten im Restaurant waren teils sehr lang auch wenn es keine aufwendigen Gerichte waren. Essen wurde nicht zusammen serviert (Ich hatte mein Essen während mein Kind 15 Minuten länger auf das Essen / Pizza warten musste und die Bestellung dann falsch kam/nicht die Pizza welche wir bestellt haben). Auch beim Frühstück sind einige Fehlbestellungen passiert, Dinge wurden komplett vergessen und auch da wurden die Speisen nicht zusammen serviert.

Lovely stay at Pondok Baruna. Great staff, lovely rooms which were very spacious , clean and private right by a lovely pool just for the 8 villas. Close to good restaurants, 5 min walk to beach front.

We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, it totally exceeded out expectations. The rooms were excellent and the executive rooms we stayed in had a seperate area to the rest of the hotel. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced, the staff were very attentive. We had an amazing stay and will definitely stay here again.

When the general manager was in the restaurant micro managing the staff it vibe in the restaurant was very different. the first two days/nights we were there the manager wasn't around and the staff were excellent but the night and day that the GM was hanging around the staff were too afraid to move and so the service slipped a little.

It was hidden away with a beautiful pool but still in the middle of everything. Very comfortabele bungalow! The staf was very nice. Shout out to Mitha for aranging and caring. Absolutely a place to cone back to. And the restaurant Sampan is the best in the street. With live music great good. Loved it! ❤️

Location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great resto with excellent menu choices.

Calme, le restaurant à côté est très bien. Le petit déjeuné et top.

Dommage qu il n’y est pas de réception tout ce fait par whatapp, même si le représentant est dispo cela peut prendre du temps si vous voulez quelque chose rapidement
