Siva Guest House

Great location in the tourist part of town and not far from the beach. Joe’s cafe opposite is good for breakfast. Room was spacious and had everything I needed. I really liked having a balcony to sit on with some plants for shade. Helpful staff and good value for money.

Some electric sockets in the room didn’t work. It would be good to put labels on all the switches in the room so that it is easier to work out how to turn lights & fans on & off.

This wonderful guest house is nicely situated and has everything you need for a peaceful stay next to the ocean. The owner, Mr. Kumar was very gentle and hospitable. The dealing with him was very easy and transparent He also offers high quality service, but if you want to get more affordable rides you can get around with Ola or Uber (but be ready for a eventual troubles and headache with drivers)

Bed sheets are little old and change for new ones would be very appreciable, but that wasn’t terrible. Just consider bringing your own sleeping sheets if you are a clean-geek. Otherwise for me that was acceptable

This is a great place to stay! It’s in an excellent location and the rooms are large with great balconies.. Ours was shaded by some lovely hanging plants but we could see everything going on - a great place to people watch! The beds were comfortable and it’s quiet at night. The manager, Kumar, does everything he can to make your stay comfortable and relaxing and we really appreciated the concern he took when our flights were suddenly cancelled. He was kind and reassuring and did everything to help us ( as did the owner Mr Siva). Definitely recommend this place!!

Siva Guest house is a wonderful place with a warm welcome. Kumar is a very well trained and very friendly person! He gives you all the support ypu need.Due to Kuumar you get a lot of contacts with people in Mahaballipuran. Aöso Khadi at the reception, is a very friendly and supporting man. The temples, the real Indian culture, the delicious food, and the sea are very impeessive. Thank you for all! Warm regards, Heidemarie

The room is the perfect size and is the cleanest I have seen in my trip. It has TV, fan and a nice shower. All windows have a good quality mosquito screen so you can sleep with the windows open without having to worry. There is a small terrace in front of all rooms where you can sit and chill. The location is really good, in a very quiet street, but less than 5 minutes walking from the main attractions and 10/15 minutes to the bus stops for going north/south. The restaurant in front offers good meals.
