Amoryg Resort and Dive Raja Ampat

Just Everything, the staff was really really amazing especially Alvaro the dive master, Cici is so kind and takes care of you like a king!!!!Everyone from the gardener to the skipper of the boat the funny Yanci, Yanto ,Teresa everyone was amazing and everything well planned!!We stayed on other homestays before and arriving on Amoryg just turned perfect our last days!!Alvaro the dive master there are no words to describe him!!!He is really amazing and makes every effort to plan your wishlist dives!!The room is large and everything perfect, the food just amazing!!!Every boat trip and dive is very well planned by the crew, with break between dives with some snacks and coffee.. they organize everything for you if you like mantas they will make everything to make it happen. I would return to Amoryg right now!!!

Amazing customer service and very friendly personnel. Great diving crew and really nice food.

The owners' need to put some investments into the property. Would be quite a small investment and a huge improvement with solar panels to get power during the day. The rooms get really hot and stuffy during the day when there is not electricity for the AC. Also, cleaning during the stay would be nice.

L’emplacement paradisiaque et proche des sites de plongées. Le staff du bateau et guide de plongée sont très sympathiques et professionnels. Le personnel du resort en général est sympathique également.

Les chambres sont très sommaires. La porte de la chambre pourrait clairement s’ouvrir avec un coup de pied. L’eau de la salle de bain est de l’eau de mer, donc salée …. Les serviettes ne sont pas changées à moins de demander. La poubelle pas vidée. Les chambres pas nettoyées (nous sommes restés 6 jours - ce qui n’est pas acceptable…..) Nous devons nous-mêmes remplir notre pichet d’eau dans la cuisine. La nourriture est loin d’être exceptionnelle. Je suis végétarienne et ai du leur répéter au moins 4x que je ne mangeais pas de poisson ou de viande. (2x lors de sorties plongées j’ai eu du poisson dans mes plateaux repas…..)

We stayed over Christmas at Amoryg and our main objective was diving. On purpose I took longer time to evaluate our stay. Summary: Amoryg is somewhere between a homestay and a resort. Mora comfortable than a homestay any definitely not providing the luxury of a resort. What you get for the price is hard to beat though. Positives: Nice location with nice views, although the place is small. There are 2 piers from which you can see sharks and other fish Staff is very friendly and helpful but they speak very limited English. Food was very tasty, there is also free water, tea, coffee and some cookies. You stay in a solid building with an AC running at night - the same applies to good internet connection. Dive center is working and taking you to many various places around on their boat - which is pretty much same as every other place. Dive staff looked experienced. Dive equipment looked very nice and rather new. Snorkelling and diving on the house reef is good - beware of strong currents. Amoryg is not located in a bay, rather direct in the strait with crazy currents.

Food was served and often not much, especially breakfast. If you ask, you get more though. They ran out of beer when we visited - we only had 4. There is little place to relax - (some) rooms lack chairs and also washbasin. Water for washing was salty. Diving is good however they lack some basic standards. I doubt they had Oxygen for instance. If you want to dive with them, I suggest you were an experienced diver already. When we visited, there was a dive instructor from Spain (Alvaro), who was actually saving a lot. They do NOT dive on Sunday.

Amorqy Problems We left 2 days early due to the poor conditions at the resort. Please refund the £418 we paid for this nightmare. Our Room No electricity everyday from 6am to 6pm in our rooms, this was not advertised on Booking.com by the owner No hot water or sink in our standard room, not advertised on Booking.com by the owner Charged 500,000 IDR per night to upgrade to a room with hot water and sink. No internet in the upgraded room, although advertised on Booking.com as throughout the resort. Our upgraded room was in a bad condition, plaster falling off the wall in many places. No robes or slippers as advertised on Booking.com by owner The Resort Credit card machine did not work, leading to great inconvenience when paying on our last day. Same food everyday, fish or chicken rice and vegetables, eggs and toast for breakfast every day.. Daily housekeeping did not exist, but advertised by owner as daily on Booking.com ATM/cash machine on site advertised on Booking.com by the owner but did not exist. 24 hour security advertised on Booking.com by the owner did not exist. No smoking on the island advertised on Booking.com by the owner did not exist, abused especially by the staff. Concrete steps to restaurant are in a dangerous condition. The Lush gardens advertised on Booking.com do not exist, overgrown weeds the reality After 2 days they ran out of all alcohol and soft drinks After 3 days they ran out of milk. Staff promised a re supply of food and drink that never happened until the 5th day. Diving One dive boat broke down often with engine failure, with a 3 hour wait to return to the shore on one occasion. Dive briefings were awful or non existent The dive crew were not very professional, but scruffy and poorly trained using poor equipment, one dive guides dive fin straps were held together by wire One dive guide actually ran out of air, twice. No diving on a Sunday. The boat taking us to Sorong broke down with engine failure

En fait, pas grand chose. La jeune femme de l’accueil était charmante et c’était bien la seule. Le club de plongée est de qualité et bien équipé et le dive master du moment Alvaro était très sympa mais malheureusement accablé par une otite. Heureusement, le wifi relié à starlink est très efficace.

Les bungalows sont très mal exposés, donnant sur un jardin déplumé et sont tellement sombres que dans la journée vous avez besoin d’une lampe frontale ( pas d’électricité avant 18 h ) Les sièges du balcon en bois, sont dépourvus de coussin, donc ultra inconfortable. Le personnel d’entretien était limite hostile. Ambiance vraiment pourrie, d’ailleurs j’ai été carrément seul pendant les 2 premiers jours, suivi d’un vieux couple de japonais autiste, dont la femme se baladait avec un masque, aux Raja !!!, bien connus pour sa pollution légendaire. Bref, j’ai tout simplement fuis après 3 jours, alors que j’avais réservé 5 jours. C’est dire ma motivation…

Muy organizado el tema de actividades, el instructor de buceo (Alvaro de españa) un GENIO, todos cuando vas a bucear excelente predisposición y buena onda. En general nos gusto el trato que tenia el personal, todos super amables.

Ogród. Fajna plaża i rafa przy ośrodku. Silny prąd - trzeba uważać.

Bardzo zaniedbany ośrodek. Brak czystości w domkach (brudna toaleta, piach na podłodze, brudne okna). Brak czystości wokół. Nikt nie sprząta. Goście sami zbierają śmiecie, ale nikt ich potem nie zabiera. W mniejszych domkach w łazience brak umywalki , słona woda w prysznicu. Sprzęt do nurkowania ok, ale brak opieki instruktora podczas nurkowania. Nie polecam dla początkujących nurków. Jedzenie bardzo monotonne, wydzielane porcje. Zdążały się problemy z agregatem prądotwórczym, który się nie uruchamiał i kolacja była w całkowitych ciemnościach. Obsługa bardzo słaba, albo jej nie ma albo wyleguje się na leżakach dla gości. Miejsce z potencjałem ale brak dobrego zarządzania. Ceny nurkowań i wycieczek - najdroższe jakie spotkaliśmy.

Restau classique : riz, poulet et poisson hyper cuit. Centre de plongée géré par un Espagnol (j'ai oublié son prénom) très sympa et professionnel Merci J'ai passé un agréable séjour en.partageant les repas avec d'autres plongeurs

Alors il va falloir que l'on m'explique pourquoi on fait des tas d'ordures sur la plage et que cela reste comme ça. Personne pour les enlever ? Une fenêtre de ma chambre ne fermait pas et une autre etait dégueulasse ! je ne comprends pas, il faut cinq minutes pour nettoyer. Beaucoup de moisissures sur un mur. Hotel qui vieillit très mal.
