Goulas Traditional Guesthouse

The location is superb. It is just inside the main gate but not a major thoroughfare. By far the best attribute is the patio. The view is superb. Saw both moonrise and sunrise. Table and chairs great for afternoon drinks. The room is authentic like you would expect a room in a medieval castle to be.

The bed was uncomfortable.

If you expect 5 star hotel that is not it, but if you want to spend time in medieval house, in 1400 + years castle city with the great view on the see and protective wall go for it. The vibe is definitely there.

The property was in a great location, not too far from the entrance of the town. Traditional and quaint rooms.

Bed was quite uncomfortable. Very hard. And pillows were old and lumpy.

It’s very close to the entrance in the castle, so you don’t have to carry your luggage for long. The room was fabulous in the castle. Bathroom is built into the castle walls.

It could have been cleaner. The bathroom could have been more cared for and cleaner. You could always reach someone by phone however there was almost never someone in person there. We booked sea view but this description was borderline accurate. Having only minimal view of sea.

Really well positioned. Modern facilities in a historic building.

Sign outside door only in Greek, but landlady guided us in by phone.
