El Tabora Guest House

Colin was an absolute delight, i've never had a warmer welcome! Room was very comfortable and the breakfast service was frankly amazing. I was absolutely spoilt and now i'll never stay anywhere else on the island. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect for us. It offered car parking at the location (if this was full we were informed there was space close by). It was a 20-30 minute walk to the centre of St Peter Port, however this provided an ideal walk after a few drinks and some lovely food. The breakfast was lovely. On time and freshly cooked.

The only downside was the layout of the rooms meant we had to share the bathroom facilites. However this didn't prove to be an issue on this visit.

The host were super accommodating.

I had a great stay at El Tabora guest house. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, even when leaving early for the airport. Very clean and well equipped room. Can highly recommend.

Velice pečlivý a ochotný majitel. Výborná snídaně. V blízkosti hypermarket a restaurace. Do přístavu je to 25 minut pěšky.

L'accueil exceptionnel et la gentillesse de Colin ainsi que son aide pour nous avoir hébergé une nuit supplémentaire suite à la suppression de notre ferry retour. Nous recommandons vivement !

Tout était parfait.

Colin and David are the perfect hosts, on arrival prior to the check-in time I left my luggage in the dining room, and nipped out in my hire car to do a little exploring of the island, on my arrival at check in time , my luggage had already been taken to my room ( up two flights of stairs, and was ready for me to unpack, I also asked if there was a launderette nearby, and was told yes here. They washed and dried some clothes for me. Out of the kindness of their hearts. Now that's what you call going above and beyond the call of customer service. They're both very informative of places of interest around the island. And yes it is only a two star guest house. However it's clean tidy and comfortable, there are 2 shared bathrooms for all of the rooms, and again clean tidy and very presentable. Each one with a wide selection of complementary personal hygiene products for every one to use, if you are looking for something that's like a home from home and you're looking for a very budget friendly place to stay in Guernsey , and you don't mind using a very clean shared bathroom close to your room, then in my opinion El Tabora is the place to go, I guarantee you won't find anywhere cheaper or even hosts so friendlier than Collin and David at the El Tabora guest house.
