Wow. What a great location - and the view! We were surprised at how large the balcony / terrace was. We had a direct ocean view and could see and hear the huge surf of Playa Zicatela. The beach was a very short walk away. Mercado Zicatela was just up the hill, the main Zicatela area a half mile north, and to the south La Punta was just a mile down the beach. Nearby, there were plenty of restaurant options. Our room had a fridge, sink, and small stove. Despite having A/C at night, we only used it twice, the ocean breeze was cool enough and there are many screened windows to let the air pass through. Roberto was a great host. The balcony had a hammock and some chairs and a table for relaxing. An excellent and affordable option not too close to the noisy nightclubs.

There could have been a few more kitchen items but I'm pretty sure Roberto would have supplied anything we didn't have. The large bathroom didn't really have a place to hang a towel or store your typical shower needs. A few extra drawers would have been handy.

Great location right on the beach and close to everything!

Owner was really nice and had amazing detailed suggestions of where to go/what to do. However, his son who works there as well was very inappropriate with me. I was traveling with my boyfriend (which he knew) and yet he continued to try and pursue me and touched me in areas I was not comfortable with... As a young female international guest, his actions made me quite uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay.

Roberto and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out they helped with anything I needed and even referred me to a laundry service.

Location. Knowledgeable and friendly host. I liked the privacy. I felt extremely safe at this location.

Room was not cleaned during stay. Would recommend light cleaning of unit every other day.

our room was spacious but there wasn’t even a hook to hang the towels in the bathroom and not really any storage space. The mosquito nets had many holes…

The location is very near to the beach, staff is super friendly and helpfully, big rooms with a nice terrace. location is great for surf at big surf spot.

The roof coverage is blocking quite some light and view from the room and terrace. The WiFi was not functioning properly.
