Clean, spacious and good location

2 single beds to make a double not very comfortable

Absolutely loved everything about this property. It is fab 👌 everything was spotless and modern. Stayed for 2 night's group of 4 ladies (55yr to 70yrs).

Not a problem, but putting lamp shades on lights, sorting the flickering bathroom light and giving instructions for the telly would be good. No hand soap in the family bathroom. Chairs to place clothes on in bedrooms and hooks behind all doors would enhance the pleasure of the stay.

Good location

Lots of rules one was no visitors we wasn’t sure what this meant so didn’t let our family members who live here n the area come round which was inconvenient as we rented the house to visit them !! No toilet rolls not enough towels but this was rectified quickly

Decor & cleanliness. Such a lovely house, beautifully decorated and seemingly a perfect find. So clean as well.

Bed mattress cheap & uncomfortable. Could feel all the springs. Pillows were awful. Cheap & lumpy. Neither of us has a good nights sleep. Didn’t match the rest of the property. Strange how no dish cloth & 1 tea towel. Wouldn’t put us off but a poor oversight. Also a lack of bins, only one small one upstairs and just a kitchen bin downstairs. I see other reviews mentioned similar problems and same on the owners other property’s which we had shortlisted as we like the style of her let’s. We come to Wakefield 3 times a year to visit family, unfortunately we wouldn’t stay here again only because of the beds. So disappointing . The other problems we could get around hence the low marks, could so easily be a 10 with care & attention

Comfortable, nicely furnished accommodation with plenty of space for a family of 5 and excellent location not far from M1 and walking distance to Wakefield centre.

Location for Yorkshire Sculpture Park was very convenient. Easy walk to excellent local Italian restaurant. Modern, comfortable house which is tastefully decorated and on a lovely, safe modern estate.

Had to contact the company when we got there to obtain lock box code. Would have been useful to have received it within previous 24 hours. Nothing had been cleaned on our arrival. Beds not stripped from previous visitors and unmade and bins not emptied etc. This was addressed fairly quickly but was an unfortunate start to our trip. We were unable to work the hob even using the printed instructions or by using You tube. There was no clean j-cloth or tea towel in the kitchen or any kitchen towel. No place mats, so we put wine and serving dishes on extra plates to protect the table. A bulb was faulty in the bathroom which made it a bit gloomy.

The house was spacious.

On arrival there was grubby wet washing left in the washing machine (tea towels and pillow cases) which we had to hang on a drying rack all through our visit. No more tea towels so had to ring owner, housekeeping put some through the letter box next day. Oven trays were disgusting and flaking, not usable. No info on how to work heating. Problem with staircase lights, just glimmered then went out. Again, had to message owner who didn't get back to us until following day, not good as clearly an electrical fault. Both ceiling lights had to be replaced with new wiring whilst we were out on our final day. Had to use torch on phone for 2 nights when going up and down stairs. TV remote didn't work properly, reported it but no response from owner. Bought our own batteries but didn't make a difference. All in all, not a great stay. Would not go back.
