The Old Crab Shop. PERFECT location & sea views.

Amazing property, which was previous Crab shop. 1 minute walk to sea, 2 minutes to pier, 1 minute to town. Incredibly central. Lovely character cottage with 1 double bed & single. Refurbished kitchen area. Able to prepare simple meals with dishwasher. Lovely welcome package. Very clean & beautifully furnished in crab 🦀 theme. Gorgeous to sit in front area where sun comes up.

Parking is on road and not designated. There is no permit. Rails at the back rusted.

Good location lovely cottage has everything you need for a self catering stay,had great weather and the town was buzzing and plenty of beach to choose your spot...

Excellent location to beach town centre pier and all amenities comfy beds pillows and very clean welcome pack and cleaning items

Parking is as advertised on first come first served so factor into your budget daily parking costs locally and stairs in property not for very young or infirm

It could do with fresh painting in places , The TV wasn’t easy to locate any free view but we did see a cam set box , no remote if it needed it . Although L G had many many channels (we have a L G tv at home ) we could not see easily see the basic channels. Location great

Location is amazing! Look outside the front door and you see the sea, it’s just down the hill from the house. It was perfect for nipping back for things we had forgotten when we were down at the beach. House was very well equipped, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. Communication from the owner was great, and we were very grateful to get a message that the house was ready early for us.

Some of the cleaning wasn’t as thorough as I would have liked. Knowing that we were coming with a 1 year old I would have expected the highchair to be cleaned. It took me 3 cleans to be happy to put my daughter in it. I think the previous occupants had bought a large dog as there was quite a lot of hair around. I had to wash all plates etc before using as the hair had managed to get in the cupboards. Not the most child friendly due to the staircases but luckily each room had a door so we were able to restrict where our daughter could go. Overall we had an excellent stay and none of these issues would stop us from returning. If we were to visit Cromer again we would definitely choose to stay here again.

This a very characterful, small house with all the modern facilities you could want. It’s in a superb position, on the edge of the town centre and right by the beach, sea, and coastal path. Very highly recommended.
