The location of the house is great. The house is beautifully decorated with marble fire place and great antique decorations all around.

Only parking permit for 1 car

Very steep stairs proved difficult for elderly relatives. Shortage of saucepans, particularly small, and a lack of TV channels

Large property with a lovely interior had a beautiful stay in York, thank you! :)

Great Location, easy walking to central York. key box on the wall, code sent in good time to access on the day, great communication from StayYork the hosts location with easy waling distance of the Minster parking with parking permit on street but with plenty of spaces a real bonus. bed linen and towels clean and beds comfortable,

The house is feeling a bit tired and tatty, the sofa's are old and dirty. A lack of cooking pans and bowels , cutlery, mugs and plates all odd and chips on plate's, just let the place down a bit. could do with a good deep clean as dusty in places and kitchen and bin grubby

heater in double bedded bedroom was not working

Next door but one to relatives Very central Asked for heating to be turned on before arrival as last time to cold and took 24 hours to warm up ! This time very nice walking in lovely and warm Has some lovely old featutes kitchen well stocked

Second time visiting this house!!! wood still in the garden wet with soil and vines growing around it . Absolutely not suitable for using on the wood burner as advertised Welcome pack poor… few sachets of milk , 2 small packets of biscuits and a couple of tea bags Mattress’s need updating very uncomfortable Lounge furniture not comfortable needs some investment Leak in loft room. one of the veluxes has been going on for some time as carpet mouldy and cupboard all swollen and finish lifting off it ! It rained in during our stay and wet all the cupboard , carpets and our clothes on top of the cupboard !
