"Very beautiful property that help made our stay in York very enjoyble."

Lot of thought from the owner into making our stay very enjoyable with good clear instructions and packs. Beautiful house in a great location and would definitely consider staying in it again if staying in York. Also nice to see some familiar memorabilia such as H&W, Queens and Donaghadee Mug 😀

location worked well for us; house was comfortable, warm, & water was properly hot !

beds that could convert from singles to double would be good a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer would be good

"Excellent stay"

Lovely property and just a short walk from the centre of York. There was plenty of space and we all enjoyed the stay. Appreciated the wee hamper when we arrived, and the house was well equipped. Very clean too which is the main thing for us. York Stays communicated with us really well, and even phoned to say the property was empty the day we arrived so available for early check in. Would stay here again quite happily and York itself is just beautiful.

"beautiful home and perfect location"

House was beautiful and homely. We felt very relaxed in the house. great location

the floors in the kitchen were a little dirty and the windows needed a good clean. the property was very warm and only 2 of the windows in the entire house opened. also there were 2 showers in the property but only one could be used at a time due to pressure which was a bit useless.

"one word really - ‘Fabulous’!"

It is in a perfect location for everything in York. Very quiet, clean and comfortable

The only 2 very small complaints we had were: 1. Need measuring jug and a mixing bowl in the kitchen (for our porridge!) 2. A mirror in the attic room. There is one in the en-suite but we really needed one in the actual bedroom

"We enjoyed our stay"

It was very quiet as a little further out of city and Warm

Aga was a little tricky couldnt get it to work last day. Property a bit tired looking wardrobes and cupboards looked dingy and smelt musty inside and few cobwebs. More accurate info required re bins and what to put in what. Eventually found the one hairdryer on top floor in cupboard on last day , too late need at least another on floor below
