"Comfortable terrace in a convenient part of town."

10.0

Great location for walking into town along canal. Spacious feel. Comfy bed. We left something behind and the owner sent it back promptly.

Nothing.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, very well equipped, comfy bed and sofa. Powerful shower and lashings of hot water. Loved the bath. Modern furnishings Great to relax at the end of the day. A pleasant walk along the canal into Skipton centre. Easy to park. Tesco and Aldi nearby. Great communication from the host.

Maybe some new chairs and gate in the yard. Only me and my dog but would be a tight squeeze for 4 to sit outside together. I'm not used to traffic noise but fine for a couple of days.

"Stayed in many cottages in skipton would definitely book again"

Location lovely walk down the towpath to skipton marina

Was a little bit noisy being on the main road but the property offset this comment made by other guests I’d happily live there 🤷‍♂️

A very clean and comfortable cottage with updated decor and everything to hand.

The location was good as it was only 10 minutes walk to the town centre but it is on a busy road with constant traffic noise

"Lovely and warm cottage. Great having two bathrooms! Adequately equipped kitchen.Superb location!!"

9.0

The fact that the property is a 20 minute walk into Skipton via the canal path outweighed the traffic noise for us. Parked up the car for the four days and didn't have to drive once! Super little bus service and a great town to walk around.

It's unfortunate that the house is on a very busy main road. We obviously knew this when we booked but hadn't appreciated how early in the morning the heavy traffic would start and disturb our sleep.
