The Stables, Ulverston

Lovely bathrooms and good sized bedrooms. Good space for longer week stays or weekend. Very comfortable base for the lakes.

The living room was not as clean as other rooms. Lots of cobwebs throughout the house. Just spoiled the cleanliness a bit.

Very relaxing and authentic experience, host was very generous letting us stay beyond check out time

Cleaning needs to improve a lot, dust and spiders net were alover the place, downstairs bathroom does not flush

the downs stairs bedroom was a little cold and damp and some of the equipment in the kitchen a little dated (whisk blew the fuse box)

Location. Size of house and nice garden. Rooms all had ensuite.

Could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It was dusty in places with dead moths and spiders in the upstairs bedrooms. The furniture in the living room had a lot of very old and dusty stuff in the drawers and cupboards. Lacking some equipment such as teaspoons (we found only 1). Not enough matching glasses for 6 people.

house is amazing with 3 beds en-suite which was good for 6 of us as family . just few mins drive to local supermarket and high street .

just need a skillful driver to park on a hill as the entrance of the gate is too narrow for our multi an to get in . quite a lot spider webs in the wardrobe .
