JJs Lodge Azalea

We loved everything!! The lodge itself had everything you could need to make it a really comfortable stay. The gardens were lovely. We watched the stars from the hot tub. Amazing breakfast.

We couldn’t figure out how to use the heating and had to use all the blankets and duvets to keep warm. BUT we might have missed this information if was somewhere.

Everything, location was perfect very picturesque, lodge was spacious and clean.

Couldn’t get the heating to work but wasn’t an issue for us as it was still warm

Lovely quiet location and the restaurant staff was amazing. Made us very welcome and the dog took a shine to the staff too

Very clean and the free breakfast was lovely.

Nothing, everything was brilliant was in a good place close to Pocklington town with shops and restaurants if you didn’t want to eat at jjs bar and grill however the food there was also very good and only 25 mins drive from York outlet and the price was great for two nights.

A key lock box with a code . Reception gave us all the information on how to get into the lodge plus written instructions as well. The lodge was very clean and warm as well. The hot tube was up and running for us to use straight away.

The only thing that was the bed was a double . Which is fine for most normal people but i am 6ft 4ins tall . This made my feet hang over the bottom of the bed. The other thing about the bed it needs a ne mattress as you could feel the springs sticking throw
