"Lovely relaxing stay"

It was so peaceful and relaxing. The property had everything you could need. The hot tub was perfect.

The oven didn’t seem to work properly but there was an air fryer to compensate for this.

⸻ We stayed here for two nights out of season with our two-year-old, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. We booked it as we wanted to visit York, and being only 20 minutes away, it was perfect. We got to enjoy the beautiful countryside away from the city and could easily drive in whenever we wanted. The lodge was beautiful and set in a stunning, peaceful location. The staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was spotless on arrival and felt really homely. The bedrooms were a great size, and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch. Because the location is so quiet and rural, the night sky was breathtaking — the stars were so clear. It was pure tranquility — so peaceful and relaxing. JJ’s restaurant was another highlight. The food was amazing, and the bar staff were so accommodating and friendly.

Couldn’t fault it. Maybe the breakfast to run all year round.

"Lovely stay at jjs lodge"

Easy check in lovely staff. Nice lodge with great hot tub. Area clean peacful and relaxing. Nice little pub down the road where we met some lovely locals and bar staff very friendly.

The walk to the village pub. No ubers would pick up our booking to take us. Got a lift back off one of the locals 🤪
