Stunning, Remodelled Cottage, Picturesque Location

The property is located in a very quiet area with spectacular views.

Very peaceful and clean all round 100% recommend, good communication with the owner, very helpful and making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Very quiet. Lovely location with a massive choice of walks nearby for the dogs.

Previous guests hadn't picked up after their dogs. Grass hadn't been cut on arrival (it did get cut in our 3rd day).

Quiet area, easy to find. Spacious bedrooms.

No hot water for 2 days!!

House was very spacious and very well furnished. All bedrooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. Very quiet location but plenty to see and do in the area. Plenty of shampoo, shower gel, washing-up liquid provided and a nice bottle of red wine was also welcome. We, as a family group, enjoyed or stay at Daisybank very much - with the exceptions detailed below.

The garden is large and would have been enjoyable - but the grass was very, very long and badly needing cut. No lock on bathroom door - as mention by others. Less than 2 toilet rolls - for 5 people for 4 nights - not adequate.

Liked the location I did wonder if one of the sofas swapping with the dining table would allow us to see the fire as we relaxed!!

Sad that the garden furniture wasn’t cleaned and ready to be used as we would have enjoyed this opportunity. Under floor heating did not seem to be working but we didn’t feel it was missed - just would have been nice to experience this!

Fantastic cottage. Very comfortable and excellent facilities. Remote but very peacful location.
