Stunning, Remodelled Cottage, Picturesque Location

The location of the property was superb. Well located to explore the Cairngorms. The layout was great and suited our needs.

The sofa is well past its best. The bathroom had paint peeling of the ceiling. As a couple that likes to cook, we felt that the kitchen lacked some essential utensils, like a proper frying pan, mixing bowls and some decent serving plates/bowls. Sadly the property is lacking some love and TLC. But not enough to detract us from visiting again in the future.

The location was fantastic. Beautiful countryside.

The sofa was stained, so badly that we had to put additional blankets down to sit on it. The shower was mouldy, and hasn’t had a decent clean in a long time. Windows were filthy, under the fridge looked like it hadn’t been clean for weeks. The cooking facilities were poor considering the cost of the stay. Contacted to host to check if the one very small and rusty frying pan, along with a few small sauce pans was all that was provided. We were simply informed that yes that’s it. The fact we informed them it was rusty and nothing was done about it and we were just expected to use a rusty pan in our option was really poor customer service. Host was responsive but no help at all.
